Some neat things with my vBSEO'ed site

My site is still pretty new (just opened may 1st) and is pretty dead... lol but i'm pulling in same dang good results with the SE's that i thought I'd share with everyone. MSN is the only SE that has really indexed me yet, so most of my examples will be from there.


I opened the site May1st to the public, and I'm just shy of clearing 10,000 page views for the month.



Not a bad opening month IMO. And it's only going to get bigger, as I have some advertising and local radio website advertising in the works.


Now, let it be known that in addition to vbseo, I also did some on-page SEO. I have potent h1's, h2's and h3's where they belong, using the vBSEO dynamic meta tag's, and i've also limited some tables to a more SEO friendly CSS-based design.


So, for all of you who are debating buying it for a new site, I would highly suggest you pick it up. It obviously works

Cool site. I live in CT. Can I make a suggestion? Try to consolidate the number of forums you have. A few forums with a couple hundred or thousand posts looks a lot better than a bunch of empty forums. I'll register and post though....

Yeah, I know. I started off small at first, and then just decided to break it all out from the get-go, so when/if the post/thread changes forum, the url will change the way I have my links set up with the fxx being shown in the url. I figured why not just start out right?

Sure it looks bare, but i'm working on it... I'm working on getting an ad up on WCCC

and not a day goes by.... and google spawns me

I have 90 threads as of this writing. I think it got nearly 80% of them, and all but 2 or 3 forum categories!

Yeah it's amazing how easy google pick's up those seo'd urls, especially with the sitemaps

I'm getting a LOT of google traffic, Last weeks visits: 1,723 (202 unique)

Problem is, they aren't staying or registering. A couple of my topics that are pulling top 5 results are generic, such as national bands, medical questions, etc etc.

Slowly but surely i guess....
