    Small Ad Budget

I have thought about setting up a small ad campaign using Adwords for my site, trying 30-50$ per month to see what happens. However, going through adwords, it would seem like this would not get me anything in the way of clicks.

What do you do for advertising? Do you use Adwords? is it as complicated as it seems or am I making it that away?

You can try to expand your list of of targeted keywords to increase the traffic delivered. But another good method is to take out CPM (Cost per impression) site targeted advertising.

Because my forums are new and aim at a specific group, I decided to go with the google adwords. I like their money management system and how they basically control the budget. I think in the last month I've gotten 131 clicks so far. That's with a budget of $100 / monthly.
I also decided to sign up with yahoo search submit express and search sponsor.
I'm not sure on everyone's thought on Search Submit Express, but it seems like it does take a while to become a factor. The search sponsor though is pretty decent.
Regardless of all this stuff, I'm doing my best to avoid ad's on the site and because of the "business" nature of the site, I really cant do any link exchanges either. Well not any that would make a difference at least.
