    sitemap warnings

would anyone be able to tell me how I can sort these problems that google detected out, and if there is a permanent fix to stop it happening in the future ? thanks

    URLs not followed
When we tested a sample of URLs from your Sitemap, we found that some URLs redirect to other locations. We recommend that your Sitemap contain URLs that point to the final destination (the redirect target) instead of redirecting to another URL.

    301 (Moved permanently)

( URL's were here, but I removed them, there were a few lol )

Please paste a couple of URLs that Google reported there.

Btw, if you have the option of 'Include old URLs' turned on (in Sitemap generator settings),
I'd suggest you to turn it off.

Ah... showpost pages! You should turn off the inclusion of Showpost pages from the sitemap.
(Best is to include only forumdisplay, showthread and blogpost pages)

After changing that setting, delete all the sitemaps and run the sitemap generator again.

In the /vbseo_sitemap/data/ directory, delete all the .xml.gz files (and .txt.gz if present, too).

EDIT: Noticed you currently have only one sitemap file generated. So I guess you won't need to delete the files manually, as they would be overwritten completely on the next run. Still, you can delete them, just to be on safer side.
