I see a yahoo & MSN drop but as I get 90% traffic from google I don't care and google is up, so so far - good

I had a big drop down

A drop of indexed pages only, or traffic as well?

For now index only, I'll se in next few day how traffic will go...

That's excellent news. We expect fluctuations in indexed page count.

For the first month or so after you install, we also *desire* a reduction in indexed pages! The reason is that Google will have indexed a lot of duplicate content, garbage or noise content. vBSEO will help ensure this non-valuable content gets removed from the index, for positive SEO improvement.

The number of indexed pages as determined by Google's site: command is best used for general trend information over the months. It is not to be mistaken for a fully accurate measure, since it is not. It fluctuates periodically.

Many of our customers report occasional, randon like, drops in their indexed pages while maintaining or even *increasing* their traffic at the same time.

I have more and more site indexed but I don't see traffic increase

Well, the key thing is that you are seeing a growth in indexed pages so far. This is good. We expect the traffic to follow. However, you should also spend some time evaluating your site for other areas of improvement, that can add benefit in addition to vBSEO.

Thanks for the reply Joe, I am doing some things to improve my forum, but it takes time to take effect. I'm hoping it will be better in month or so, I'm not in rush

Just because they are indexed doesn't mean anyone is searching for it, either That's something to keep in mind.
