Site Report - Gamerz Needs

Wow my most people online is like 19 and that had me happy. Wish i could have 200 + at a time. Guess i am still just to new hehe

Just to see how the stats are 1 day later

Currently Active Users: 522 (298 members and 224 guests)
and
Total members that have visited the forum in the last 24 hours: 2,359

The one I mainly look at is the 24 hour display because I have set cookies to 1 hour from memory, which im going to lower slowly every day from now on. What is a good timeout for cookies? 15 min?

Okay, another week has passed and im still updating this to try and get a better picture.

Cookie timeout has now been lowered to 45 min. I will change this to 30 min probably next month.

I also deleted about 1500 members who had not verified there email who had not accessed the site in 200 days as well.

Horn, you have over 275 links on your front page.
Google wants to see not more then 100 links into a page...

The archives links at the bottom for start. Thats 276 pages alone!

Then why is that a feature of vbseo? if it is actually bad to enable it.

I would limit it to only include the archive main pages. That should give you a lot less links.

that must have been a new feature in rc5, well ive done that now. it took it from 276 to only 241 pages. (should i disable it all together?

Since you have SO many forums, it may even be a good idea to disable that feature all together. Or pick and choose certain ones and just put manual links in your footer to those particular ones.

Is there a program that counts the urls on a given adress?

Stats dropped a bit this week :/

The site:domain.com search isn't accurate, so you can't rely on those numbers. Keep an eye on your search engine referrals (using something like Google Analytics) to gauge your progress.
