Search engines extreme drop, but not google

I've installed vBSEO on one of my primary boards, it was 3 months ago. Google is just great, its increasing each month, but on MSN & Yahoo i just get 80 or 100 results, each week they are decreasing! Altavista on the other hand, its getting close to google's, but its 20.000 results shorter.

Any solutions? Before installing vbseo I had better results on search engines, even on google, and when my primary website name was typed on google, i was placed 1st, not im 2nd.

You seem to be doing ok in Google.

I'm not a big fan of the large # of footer links you have in place. You might consider setting it to:

Add Links to the Archive Main Pages

That will reduce the # of links.

You should try building up some more backlinks. I don't see very many in Google.

In like 3 months I have noticed hardly any traffic being brought in by Yahoo, 99.9% of traffic ceoms from google, and nearly all comes from google.ca!

Good luck with that then. 99% from google is how it is for all sites. The fact is, very few searchers use the other search engines. And there is nothing that any effort of SEO can do to change that.

I get a good amount of traffic and revenue from my Yahoo referrals. More than Google. I believe VBSEO has helped me out a lot in Yahoo.

I will second this statement. While lots of traffic comes from Google, the Googlites do not stick around for a long time and less than 10% return. Visitors who land on the site from the other "smaller" search engines look around the site and click on the ads much more often than the Googlites.

With regard to the decrease in Google positioning. This occurred on my site for my main keyword, too. Luckily, other keywords improved in positions and overall traffic is higher (as well as revenue).

Best of luck in growing your site.

I have exactly the opposite affect. I used to get a lot of traffic from yahoo, and have since dropped to a 1/4 of the hits. Visitors from yahoo came and left because a lot of my top terms were junk and weren't really relevant. Google visitors stuck around more.
