    1 week update

Can't complain with the changes after just 1 week. Registrations have been going well, still having trouble with search engines. Google peaked at about 4,500 entries and recently dropped. I added the sitemap to MSN last week as well as yahoo. Thought I already submitted the sitemap to yahoo, but apparently didn't.

I found out Sitemap Generator was failing to ping to yahoo, so fixed that and now pinging all 4. After some reading I set it so "show post" and member profiles are not being put into the sitemap so those numbers have dropped drastically. I know it's still early and because I'm rather new to SEO'ing vBulletin, it'll take time. Plus my site is just about 6 months old so I'm getting there.

I also have a custom "website" built into vBulletin as index.php and forums as forum.php, I edit the extra-urls.txt for sitemap to include index.php which is important because it's where I have the biography, discography, tracklists, lyrics etc (more content rich pages). I added custom rewrite URLs for all those index.php?do= pages as well.

Most of the changes I did were done yesterday, and Yahoo has gone up to 88 indexed pages so that's good.

Visits fell pretty bad, 2 days after installing vBSEO (April 14 peaked at 40, April 19 was at 11) and is slowly going back up (yesterday had 29 hits from google). Average before vBSEO was in the high teens.

    Long Tail:
    369 hits from google
    25 keywords
    14.76 hits/keyword

The top keyword (222 hits) was my site name, the second was chamillionaire forum with 43 hits, and third was my URL with 22 hits. We have about 13 of the keywords with just 1 visit. I'll start adding all this into the weekly reports as well.

I hope so, but like I said my site's still small, growing better than I expected, but still got a long ways to go. Glad I bought vBSEO now before it's too late

-Google Analytics were messed up for most of the week, I switched back to the Urchin code and has been working like normal, so the long tail could be better then what it's showing.

Some reason the search engine entries have gone down, but number of visits and unique visitors are up. Also search engine traffic sources have jumped to 10.3%, that's 2% since 2 weeks ago. Looking great and very happy so far
