I know that. I have quite a few posts a day, but still no "real" traffic from vBSEO. I'm not convinced.

You might want to disable your showpost links and replace them with permalinks (Forum Permalinks => Replace post number link with Permalink) after they are duplicate content.

I've added permalinks...but will consider removing showpost links completely. Still, though, vBSEO hasn't really done much for me, other than give nice looking URLs.
