I looked at mcdar.net/dance for the past couple days and the results are all mixed up throughout the datacenters. Matt Cutts did a live web show tonight talking about the new data from big daddy being slowly moved to all the datacenters.
I am about to make a post in the general SEO forum that may be of interest to you all as well regarding 301's
my stats only stayed like that for a day, back down to 900, which is what is showing up on the big-daddy datacenter.
I'm getting a lot of fluctuation as well. I went up to 160,000+ pages in Google, but two days ago I noticed all but two of my pages are now in the Supplemental results.

Last week I had a ton of vBSEO pages in the main index but now they are all gone. I'm hoping it's just a Google update of some sort that will pan itself out.
For the hell of it I check out Richard's site as posted here: vBSEO and other search engines and noticed that he only has a couple pages in the main index and the rest of his results are all in the Supplemental index.
Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?
You've done such a great job tracking your performance, sportsoutlaw, that I'm curious what you've been seeing over the past couple weeks.
Nothing good. I have lost virtually all ranking in yahoo. Most of my google SERPS have held, but I have lost some of them as well.
a google search by site: shows me to have 11,000 pages, but they are all supplemental and you can only see 900, which is what the API also shows.
I dont want to violate the TOS with google, so I wont get into money, but I was getting 30,000 - 40,000 page impressions per day prior to the installation, I get around 5 now and I have twice as many static pages added to my website.
That is about all I feel comfortable saying at this point though.
With the Adsense TOS, you can state dollar amounts, but you aren't supposed to discuss CTR's and other stats.
I think there's definately something going on a Google, because a lot of people are losing indexed pages (vBSEO and non-vBSEO users).
Well, I certainly hope things take an upswing for you. I have been concerned about my performance for the past couple months. But between Jagger, Big Daddy and everything else going on in the world of Google, there has been a lot of fluctuation that could be coming from any number of places.Originally Posted by sportsoutlaw
I am hoping that things settle down over the next month so I can re-assess my SEO strategy.
Over the past two days I have seen a drop of almost 100,000 pages in Google. Granted, they're all Supplemental results, but then again, EVERYTHING I have in Google (short of 6 pages) got pushed into the Supplemental index.
That is true. However, for me, I had alot of success with my archive. Archived posts/threads woulr rank well in search engines for terms that I wasnt pushing for (simply because it is impossible to focus on that many different words). For instance - thread would get started on my forum regarding an NFL draft prospsect, we would discuss what we had to discuss, and it would die. A month or so down the road I am getting all kinds of hits for that players name. a few searches and I find the archived thread sitting high up on top of googles rankings.Originally Posted by ConqSoft
My regular site ranks well with google, and has for quite some time. I wanted to get my forum pages (the regular, not the archive, ranking high). This has not happened, not even close. Adsense is not my primary advertising source, but since November, I have gone from days of anywhere from $45 to $80 per day, down to an average of around $2 per day.
Guys, I am done. vbseo is now uninstalled from my forum and I cant forsee myself going back to using it. I have had no benefits, only a slower running forum as a result.
Good luck to all.
Well, that's your decision, but I really don't think vBSEO has anything to do with your drop in Adsense revenue, since it seems to be a widespread thing going on right now, across many sites.
How can you not see it hurting his revenue if his main source was the archive?Originally Posted by ConqSoft
He doesn't have to have to archive rewritten if he doesn't want to... That was his option.
That was strongly pushed by everyone hereOriginally Posted by ConqSoft

Plus it comes default like that as well
It's an option built into stock vBulletin too....
