As of right now, it is showing #1 again.

It does appear that more traffic is beginning to come in from threads in search engines, however, awstats doesnt tell me if it is google or not.

google appears to be stuffing my vbseo'd pages into the index now. I am up from 205 pages indexed from my forums (198 vbseo'd), to 739 forum pages indexed, 729 of which are vbseo'd.

Congratulations. It appears Google has taken a liking to your forum.

As of now, the results are back down to the low numbers. Tons of fluctuation going on with my site and google right now.

I dont know if this is a situation of google doing updates or what, but the number of pages optimized by vbseo for me on google has now dropped to 8.

I have almost 2,000 in msn, and almost 6,000 in yahoo. What gives with google? Everything I do is for google, yet they keep slapping me in the face with stuff like this.

Mine dropped to 600 something yesterday but is now at 44000+ Looks like we are about to get another PR update

I hope the PR update holds off a little longer. I still dont have my damn vbseo pages indexed. I want PR on those things.

Ok, something is either going on at google, like a big update, or my site is in big trouble

I was up to showing over 9,000 pages indexed, and I have fallend down to 511 now. numbers like this worry me.

I checked couple times this week and each time i got different result. Hope this update will finish soon

Well, I am hoping that this drop to a very low number is going to be followed by a climb to a much higher number. This is over 2 full months now with vbseo and the sitemap plugin, so I really hope this update brings me something positive.

Seeing 511 pages indexed puts an uneasy feeling in my stomach

It's normal for the drop since it's getting rid of duplicate pages. I'd rather have a small amount of relevant results then thousands and thousands of junk pages in the SERP's.

I had that drop over a month ago. Having 500 pages indexed goes way beyond removing duplicate content, or at least I would think so. Even if I didnt have individual posts indexed, I still have 4,000 threads and 1340 members.

I have to agree that 500 SERPS is kind of scary, but I've seen this happen before. See for example this post... Richard was about to throw the towel

Now he is up to over 150K results (over 3 times his pre-vbseo numbers). Why google makes it so tough on us??

Were those 9k pages static (vBSEOed)? Google is acting strange lately (when not?) - give it some time.

no, I have never had more than 100-300 vbseo pages in google. The number has always fluctuated.
