    VBSeo Progress report

Hi Everyone, thought Id add my results to the forum.

Above the line = prior to VBSeo...

Stats from Google analytics for Visits as a result of search engines:

A really noticeable difference is Live/MSN.. from nearly nothing it jumped right up, though it seems to have dropped again. Any ideas why there was that initial little burst with Live/MSN?

Google is certainly way up compared to what it was... and yahoo seems to have remained fairly static ( smaller increase)

Uniques havent really changed as yet...... and its probably difficult to also tell during the quieter Christmas/New Year period...

Will increase in uniques and site growth flow on?

This is non-unique *hits* your showing above?

I can see that the jump in keywords is indicating the expanded effect vBSEO will have. Since we optimize on a thread by thread basis, we help to generate traffic for potentially thousands of terms that occur within you user generated content.

Keep us posted Terrie. I look forward to reading about your continued success with vBSEO.

Yes, those would be non unique hits, they are just the "Search engine" data from Traffic sources tab in Google Analytics.

The uniques hasnt moved as yet... but Im hoping as time passes that they start to climb to...

I find the keywords very interesting, Many are very obscure...

    Thats google analytics

    Google Analytics

You need to then put some code in your VBFooter. after registering first on google.

Far as recording them, I just typed them into a word document... after extracting the weekly info from analytics

Hi TravisRuhl, When you first log in to analytics, click on "View Reports"

Next over to the sidebar, click on "Traffic Sources"
When that group expands, you can then click on "search engines" It lists each by type... ie. yahoo, google. etc.

Next click on keywords on the sidebar there ( still under Traffic Sources heading)

I change the date at top of page to cover the range for each week. Click where you see the date and youll see options to change the period you are viewing.

    Hope that helps

ok great, I will go check it out. Just one more thing. in order to record stats you have to manually do it everyday? i don't seem to see anywhere where you can look up your records from day to day.

Should I just make a good dashboard and save a pdf everyday?

There is a shareware program available called IRFanView. It's great for quickly cropping and saving screenshots for web upload if you are interested in doing that.

Its ages since I updated, heres some more recent stats

    Previous Stats From 1st Post:

    ..Oct 12-18...............350......4906......17......5330.. .....2448

    Google Increase from Dec 07 - Oct 08 .. 1978%
Keyword Increase Dec 07- Oct 08..........1431%

Time for some amazing screenshots over that period...

The start of July was a real upturn, and its rising fast......

My Graphs start in November 2007, you can see that I nearly had a complete flatline then, VBSeo was installed in early December 2007..... My site had been going for 2 years before that.

Im not even sure what changed at the start of July, I didnt do anything different to my site........

Im very pleased with VBSeo... I use Hittail to track my long tail keywords, and they are rising steadily as well.

    Thankyou VBSeo,
