    MFF & Vbseo - 20 Days

I don't know where else I can put this, but i'm going to keep this thread on here "if allowed" to track the progress of my site when using vbseo.

    Members: 271 · Threads: 4,921 · Posts: 36,369

    Google:
    26,600
MSN: (site not working at the moment)
    Yahoo:
    84,109

The above stats were using this search term:
    site:myfootballforum.com
The site was started in December, the vbseo script was added about 20 days ago so hopefully we can start to see an improvement with the number of visitors on the site.

I'm looking forward to seeing your site's progress. - I suggest enabling rewrites for member profiles, it often helps rank those pages nicely which should reflect as more SE referrals.

btw, you have a duplicate copyright notice at the bottom of your site, please try this: two vbseo copyrights showing

I haven't changed my funtions.php file, so I don't know how to get rid of the double copyright. Also how do I enable rewrites for member profiles. I had to download some setting from here that were adapted to sites with not a lot of resources as the site kept crashing. If you can let me know what to do to change it then I will.

    Thanks again for the help.

    Hello,

I haven't changed my funtions.php file, so I don't know how to get rid of the double copyright.
Please try to uninstall and then reinstall vBSEO's xml product file in admincp.

Try to reupload original vBulletin's includes/functions.php file or open a support ticket with ftp/admincp access for troubleshooting.

UPDATE. I'm trying to update this twice a month if thats ok.

There seems to be a slight increase but nothing major. Its been a month since I installed it over a month ago.

Well todasy I had to disable vbseo as it kept on crashing my site. How much memory do I need to run vbseo properly without any trouble.

I only have 256meg, i'm going to upgrade to 512 I think. But thats an extra $30 as you get bundles, with more space and bandwidth included. All I need it memory though.
