LoroAdictos.com report (spanish site)

Hello,

I have an spanish site about parrots, and I was using smf as our forum. I like smf, but was performing so bad when talking about seo... So two days ago I migrated the forum to vBulletin + vBSEO and knowing that I still have lots of work adapting the template, I'm planning to leave some reports there.

Old url's have been redirected to new ones, and I ran yesterday sitemap generator with 616,503 total urls (sitemaps still shows as only downloaded)

It started like 6 years ago, in 2003, and June 2009 statistics are:

- Threads: 54.635, Posts: 562.227, Users: 13.217, Active members (60 days): 1.100
- Google, site:www.loroadictos.com/foros 14000
- Yahoo, site:www.loroadictos.com/foros 82500
- Bing, site:www.loroadictos.com/foros 279 (ehem...)
- 65.916 visits, 729.609 pageviews
- 41.488 visits from 15.264 keywords.
- PR3 on main site, PR2 on forum.

I migrated on 12, July 2009, and one day after, SE seems to be happy crawling the site, as seen at SE Bots Activity Log, and adsense incoming seems to be raising a bit, at least the CTR is 2x (probably due to new ads locations):

- 42.028 visits from 15.868 keywords. (since 1 month ago)
- PR3 on main site, PR2 on forum.

vbseo pages are replacing old ones in SE. Visits and pageviews have fallen down, due to holidays, but adsense earnings remain (I have increased ctr with the new theme).

Oh, I will wait to submit a critique request until I work it a bit more...

At this moment, Google is indexing some new pages, but the total number of indexed pages is decreasing. I know this can be normal, so I'm not alarmed... yet

I though it will be something like loroadictos/tienda-de-animales-completa.html and not the whole /preguntas frecuentes/ etc.... Little bit long isn't it?.

mmmm, I can be completely wrong in seo terms, but I like to have the name of the forums in the url, even when looking a thread... Looks more logical to me.

For example if you talk about parrots, I like an url like this:

/foros/veterinary/xxxx-my-parrot-is-ill.html than
/foros/xxxx-my-parrot-is-ill.html

/foros is the url of the forum, so I have to keep it

Yeah same is happening to me also and while at the beginning I didn't like it much now is growing on me and I do actually like how it looks, its just me that i'm kinda picky and theres no more weird characters on the links so what else can we ask for?. LOL

I use 'site:' for the indexed pages, and Analytics info.

Well, I will post more statistics in some days, right now I have less indexed pages, and less visits (it's holidays...)

Yes indeed I am, I don't quite underestand the difference between indexed pages and anayltics etc but I'm really new to this SEO world so my next step will be to read the vbseo tutorials and familiarized myself with the terms etc.
