Current trend is away from fixed %-ages, although I'm sure that there is some threshold out there that would not yield positive results.

I reviewed your homepage, and due to the content at the top along with the nav links, it might be a bit excessive.

Without looking at it %-age wise, it's evident from a human perspective that the content is a tweaked for the search engines. You can use that as a very general rule of thumb. If you visit the site and it looks "padded" with keywords or spammy, then it may trip a filter at Google, causing penalization or removal from the index.

Another think (even more important to consider) is how it will impact your human visitors who see the same thing and have to decide whether your site is quality enough for them to stay, or if they should move on to the next result in Google's search results.

My recommendation for you would be using those keywords a little more conservatively than you are right now.

FYI - One way we do like to get extra coverage of a keyword on the site is with our Relevant Replacements feature which is designed to do so, without overkill, or appearing spammy.
