    Just Google and no other?

In a period of a few days I got the following accesses from search-engines:

    google: 55'000
    aol: 500
    ask: 68
    msn: 2
    yahoo: 1

    1. Question:
Do I have to think about those other search-engines? (other than google)

    2. Question:
If there's a search-engine I should think about too ... how to do it best?

    Thanks a lot!
    Marcel

google is one of the most used SE's so it's normal to see most hits from there.
yahoo is slow... it took me nearly a year to get re-indexed on them when i went from invisionboard to vB.
In time, the other's will catch up.

2 or 3 years with vbseo now ... and still nothing happens?
Is it still correct that sitemap isn't transferred to google automatically?

Our sitemap automatically pings Google and others.

You should submit your site for a critique.

    Sorry to ask:
    Submit what and where?
And is this something, I have to do manually or is it something that works automatically, if I would configure it like that?

I have 400K+ pages both in google and yahoo, but Google Analytics reports Google as the 99% of search engine driven traffic.

    ¿Perhaps G.A. doesn't properly detect other sources?

Mine is reporting google at only around 60% of SE traffic so I'd assume its working correctly.

I've put in the ID for yahoo.
    But the sitemap-submission-mail says:

    Google ping: Successful.
    Yahoo ping: FAILED.

    Why?

And is there another search engine I can/should submit the sitemap once manually?

    Thanks!
