Huge Drop In Google Results

Within last week i realized that i had a huge drop in google.

vbseo on ayyas as you can check in here in the beginning of june my results were around 94.000 but now it dropped to 15 k

Does anyone know what can cause this ?

My pagerank is still the same (3) and in pagerank prediction i get 5 as future prediction. I didn't change any settings at all.

I think its fantastic to get 94k pages with just PR3. I still think its your PR that has going up and down and that causes google to drop pages. I increased my PR lately and Google have indexed more than ever.

Same drop here. Google is fluctuating again it seems...

It is funny as hell but today i get 87,800 from site:ayyas.com - Google Search and 86.400 in site:ayyas.com vbseo - Google Search

Hmmm I thought I was spared from this but no...


I went from +100.000 to a mere +50.000 suddenly, without a raison that I know of :(

Well let's hope this is just temporary.

google is heavily dropping pages in my forum too...its so confusing...

There was word on the SEO forums that Google will play again with their software.
No reason to panic.

It happens again. I can't believe what a stupid engine google has.
Nothing changed on the site and now i dropped incredibly again.

I was around 130 k last week and the funniest part is I have tons of old urls indexed again

From ~400 000 to 120 000

If you add vbseo to the end and make a search it is even worse

But you just get vbseo live but i have it for like 5-6 months. Google is acting weird as hell lately

Those ups/drops occoured before vBSEO, you didn't noticed them because you were not interested on the number of SERPS.
When I wrote my vBArchive hack for vBulletin 2 (it did what the archive for VB3 does now, when VB3 was not out) I noticed the same fluctuations.

The important thing is that they stabilize after a while, so why bother checking every day and going crazy over?

You are right but if it effects your referral statistics you get upset about it

But has it affected your referrals? A change in # of indexed pages often correlates to a change in referrals but it certainly doesn't always work that way.

My indexed pages dropped by about 80% since last week but my referrals are about the same. Did your referrals drop 90% since your indexed pages dropped 90%?
