How long do I have to wait?

Hey guys/gals

I installed vBulletin and vBSEO at the same time a month ago.

Prior to that i had phpBB, no indexed pages and traffic was rubbish.

I now have 10k pages indexed so vBSEO is doing its job, traffic is also increasing albeit slowly. I also have in my eyes a better skin than all the big computer forums.

I also implemented an aggressive link building strategy about a month ago. I have 5 PR8 links, 5 PR7 and around 20k PR0-PR6 all on related websites. All with correct anchor text and have my keyword in my title.

What I don't get is as yet traffic is not amazing - 150 organics a day, I personally don't think i need anymore links to out rank my competition, so what is up? Do I just need to be more patient?

Its not the sandbox either and domain is over 1 year old.

How did you get the 20K links? Were they all at once? You should try not to create so many linkbacks so quickly that it appears unnatural.

Did you use the same anchor text for all links? It's good to rotate it.

Don't stop building links. Keep it up and it will happen sooner rather than later. You have a very clean nice layout btw

Ah - I see. Ok - well keep us posted on your progress for the next few weeks and months.

Will do, I'm going to drop some of the links when their subscription runs out at the end of the month.

I think i have picked up a penalty for adding links too quickly, from experience dropping some of the links and adding them back in intervals later fixes this fairly quickly.

I have kinda answered my own question, i just need to be patient, i have links and content so it is just a waiting game.

Its only been a month and everyone says these things can take 3-6, i have covered most bases so time to sit back.
