    Google analytics problem

    I installed google analytics on my new site last week. I went in through the vbseo config and added the google code just like I did with my other site.

    When i go to my google analytics report the first site I did is showing traffic but, my new site show 2 visits on the first day I installed it... Nothing since then. I know that isn't correct because I have had people register on the forums since then.

    Any ideas?

    from the looks of it, you added the WHOLE analytics code into the Control panel...

    Code:
    var pageTracker = _gat._getTracker("<script type=");
    The control panel adds all that for you

    All you need to enter into that block is your UA code,

    ie, UA-XXXXXX-X

    don't copy/paste the whole code block from the analytics panel... just your account ID.
