google analytics not showing any hits

I have analytics code installed in my vbseo. I set up the funnel as this link suggested: [HOW-TO] Setting up vBSEO's Registration Funnel in Google Analytics

For some reason I'm not getting any results and its been this way for about 2 months now. What did I do wrong? vb 3.6.2 with 3.63 patch, vbseo 3.0 rc5. ROIC :: Phil Town & Rule #1, Warren Buffett, Benjamin Graham Value Investment Community

Are you getting ANY stats on Analytics? If so, and you just aren't getting hits on the Registration Funnel, then you must have a problem with that part.

Make sure you enabled the option in vBSEO Control Panel, and make sure all the other settings inside your Analytics Settings are correct. Post a screenshot of your funnel setup page from Analytics.

Well, you aren't showing any stats, even though it says "Receiving Data". Try the Check Status option again. Does it still detect the code on your site?

Ah, ha. The code for your site has the -2 on the end, but the code on your page (the code you entered into vBSEO control panel) doesn't have the -2 on the end. You can have multiple sites set up in Analytics, and each will have a different number at the end.

I would re-do the "Check Status" thing just to make sure, then check your stats tomorrow to see if anything has shown up.

Ok I checked status last night and today, it says its receiving data. This is after I added the -2 to my vbseo cp under analytics code.

Even today, I have no data showing up on my analytics page. Whats going on here?

    multiple sites

Hi - if I'm tracking multipel sites...do I need to change the # at the end for each of them?

i.e. for the first it's: -1, for the second, -2, third -3, etc?

sorry for the basic question...thanks in advance!

You need to use the number that Analytics assigns to each site. When you view the code for each site, it will have a unique number at the end. It may not always be in order 1,2,3,4,etc, so check it.
