| Google Analytics - Non Forum Pages
Looking for some help. I am capturing data through Google Analytics on all Forum and Photo Post pages. Unfortunately, the non forum pages are not capturing data. On non vb pages the code is a php include in the footer. The script also includes the variable for Urchin 5 tracking. Anyway... I emailed Google to see if they can provide any answers. Has anyone else experienced this? Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts |

Hello, try to remove _userv=2; line from Analytics code on non-forum pages.

More info... Yesterday the code didn't include the Urchin 5 variable and no data was collected. I am going to keep the code in for now and wait for 24 hours to see if any data is captured. In addition, I was researching the possibilities of including the tracking code in the head above any other java script. There was mention that certain java script might conflict with one another. If you have any other insight let me know. |

Email from Google... In order to use both Urchin software and Google Analytics, you'll need to remove the call to the __utm.js and add a new line into the existing Google Analytics code. We don't recommended using both the __utm.js and Google Analytics code on your site at the same time, as they may interfere with each other. Please, remove this line of code from your webpages: <script src="__utm.js" type="text/javascript">. Once you make these changes, you should begin to see data in your Analytics reports after 24 hours, while still sending data to your Urchin software installation. |

I'm report back in a day or two to see if this works. If that be the case is it possible to add the _userv=2 to the VBSEO Google Analytics implementation.

| vBSEO doesn't allow to modify Analytics code, but there is a workaround example described here: Two Google Analytics urchinTrackers with Google Analytics Funnel for Registrations
