    Try this:
    http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=99579

Just make sure you have the messages displayed below the Navbar.

How would you do that? and why it should be below and not above the nav bar?

You don't want the extra text above the area where you have your Thread Titles/Forum Titles/Descriptions.

    Update:

Post vbSEO: The forums now are running slower to open and view threads than pre vBSEO.

    Any suggestions?

vBSEO does use more CPU than standard vB, but it shouldn't be a lot. No way around that. What were your server load levels before, and what are they now?

Good question. I didn't measure that pre or post vBSEO. I will check and report back. If I add mod_gzip, would that affect the functions of the forums?

If you add mod_gzip, make sure you turn off vBulletin's internal gzip option.

    Where do you do that?
Does mod_gzip have better performance than VB's internal gzip?
Do you know of any issues with mod_gzip and FireFox users?

I asked that question here a while back: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=147524

    vBulletin's gzip option:

AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Cookies and HTTP Header Options -> GZIP HTML Output

Since only VB is running here, I will leave it as is.
