    F-Body Online study

    First, a bit of background:
I started F-Body Online back in Nov. 2006 with SMF and switched to vBulletin around december 1st or so.

The site is still relatively small, with 188 registered members, but I hope to see that number go up a bit faster from here on out.

Great to see some good stats. I just implemented vbseo on my muscle car forum namc.us. I hope it works out for me, there's so many car forums out there, it's hard promoting them.

This is compared to a more "down month" during the holiday season, but compared to my last larger months, it is still very high.

Also getting over 2600 visits via google compared to 1500 Oct-Nov.

Getting Even more traffic now. Helps to be #1 in google for some top terms like "Firebird Forums"

I'm not sure I'm doing this right, but I'll type it out and let you look at it:

    Top 100 Keywords
    Top 3 Keywords receive: 522
    Remaining 97 Keywords: 3904

    All Keywords

    Total Keywords: 2,315
    Total Hits: 4,426
    4,426/2,315 = 1.912 hits per keyword.

Not sure if that is too long or what, but if you wanna give me some insight that'd be great.

*All of this is over the past 1 month via Google Analytics. If you'd like me to do all time I can try that as well.

Great info. So we see that 25% of your traffic comes from your main keywords. The remaining 75% all come from a powerful long tail.

That's an excellent long tail. It's showing that you are successful in generating hits from thousands of keyword variations. As your content grows, your long tail will grow, and your traffic will grow with it.

Imagine if you only got traffic for your top 3 terms... You would only have 25% of your current traffic, and probably 75% less earning potential! That's the powerful of the long tail.

Good comparative data would be your long tail stats for an equal period of time pre-vBSEO and post-vBSEO.

I'd just like to add a few things:

First, big thumbs up to vBSEO, and the team. I'm now #1 for 4 pretty large keywords searched by camaro/firebird owners and my traffic and most importantly registrations are going through to roof compared to before.

    Monthly Registrations
    Jan: 43
    Feb: 56
    Mar: 59
    Apr: 74
May: 89 (with 9 days still to go in the month)

No doubt that this was probably the best 150 bucks I've spent in quite some time.

I'm now #3 for Camaro Forums. This is huge, as I was #1 for Firebird forums for a month or so now but now I'm climbing through the ranks of Camaro Forum(s) as well.

I think this speaks for itself. A forum with 700 Members beating sites that have been online 10+ years.

From now on, EVERY vBulletin forum I run will be getting vBSEO as soon as it goes public.
