My site is the leading Chicago Bears fan site on the net. I'm looking to push it to an even bigger sucess using vbseo.

I can say immediately, I see a server performance hit.

I have an AMD 64 3000+ with 2 gigs... Normally the load is around .30 or so...

Now it's 1.3 to 1.8.... I'm going to keep an eye on it..

There are lots of things going on immediately after a vBSEO installation: SE referrals being 301 redirected, online visitors/members being 301 redirected, new linkbacks (refbacks) being recorded, etc.

Once things settle down, I would expect your numbers to stabilize at loads very close (or slightly higher) to your pre-vbseo values.

our site went down after vBSEO install, too high load had to upgrade the server from single CPU to dual CPU

Like Juan said, the server load has dropped back to almost normal. So hopefully I won't nee to upgrade..

If anything I'd need to jump to 4 gigs... I only run a few sites off the server.. But DaBearz.com gets hit pretty hard.. Our record bandwidth is 500gigs per month, but we average a couple hundred gigs per month..

So far so good with the install. Now google doesn't seem to see the new pages.

They only list a few pages using site:Chicago Bears Message Board Forum - Your #1 site for Chicago Bears fans. vbseo

But we'll see.. I generate my own traffic, but am looking to get into better search results with "Chicago Bears" as the key word...
