Going to use this to track my progress. This is a BRAND NEW forum. started June 12th 2007.

June 12th
Day 1: VBulletin Installed. vbskinworks skin installed. vBadvanced installed. First member joined.. ME!

June 14th
Day 2: vbSeo purchased and installed in 5 mins (wow!). Default settings used (per suggestion in the instructions as I had NO IDEA what half of it meant heh). Google Status: Not Indexed.

June 16th
Day 4: Replaced the guest welcome header with an image.

June 20th
Day 9, vbSeo 6 days: WOOT! Indexed in Google. (I think :X)
site : prisonofficer.org returns - Google = Results 1 - 10 of about 49 from prisonofficer.org. (0.05 seconds), Yahoo = Pages (1) | Inlinks (3)

Should those google search be linked somehow? Why would the 2 have different results?

Joe, Question..

Being a law enforcement site we get A LOT of linkbacks and refbacks from sites such as opencongress . org Now I am not sure.. but I think it is an automated site that just pulls from Law sites. Lots of our H.R. 218 threads get links from there.

Should I be setting those as spam and deleteing them? Would it help or hurt to have those type of backlinks?

If you think it's a spammy site, then you should probably add it to your blacklist.
