Boarding Scene Progress Report

Ok... so it seems like all the bugs are finally worked out, except for a few small non VbSeo issues such as the quick reply not loading right.

I am going to use this thread to update everyone with the status of my site after installing vbseo.

Right now google is reading 459 results for my site.

There are a alot of broken link now though, becasue of the old url rewrite being disabled and such.

Anyone know how long it will take before those will disapear?

Also, what are some more things I can do to garantee lots of members and that the serps treat me right.

I am still waiting for some results... Nothing yet, google still has my old pages showing up that do not link to my site anymore.

I hope this doesnt take much longer... the wait is killing me.

It will take at least weeks, and possibly months for results to be seen. It's only been two days.

I understand how it can be exciting to wait for the results after you've completed a major SEO upgrade. But you really do have to get comfortable operating in "search engine time"!

I actually have been running it for over 2 days, but I also did some major keyword seo work as well. My main 3 keywords where ate about 1% on all pages, and I rose them to about 9%. I am planning on getting it to 15% this weekend.

I also bought the flashchat software in hopes of atracting more users.

Ok, so it looks like google is finally starting to getrid of the old and index the new. I now have about 528, and I had 459 when I started.

545 pages indexed today...

Hmm... I dont understand. My pages are still going down instead of up.

Can someone please help me out. I think somethign may be wrong. My site is indexing pages, but not even close to all of them. Also, google cached my page really view the other day. All the pics were broken and such.

Keep with it. And remember that you have to build community as well as improve your SEO. 2 months is a only a short time, so stick with it. As you grow, you'll start to see the results of your SEO efforts. Your site looks very nice - so packing in some good content will help to stick your members, get them more active and linking, etc.
