After 3 years, Yahoo sending traffic again

This is a discussion on After 3 years, Yahoo sending traffic again within the Analysis: Traffic & SERPS forums, part of the vBulletin SEO Discussion category; I have no explanation for this. I haven't changed anything or tried to do anything with yahoo SERPs in years....

I notice this also, and would agree it is probably because of the Bing/Yahoo merger.

Correct, though I think it is a merge of Bing's engine and yahoo and bing's index together.

In your google analytics's go to Traffic Sources -> Search Engines -> Yahoo

Then look at the graph trend... you may need to also change the date range in the top right hand corner to include a long enough period.

For me there is a big increase in scrawlings by bing. Yahoo doesn't show any reaction. Strange.

I always thought bing and yahoo are in competition with each other and google of course.
that's why seo expert tell people to submit your site to google, yahoo and bing.
Not just submit to google and bing and forget about yahoo.
