6 months vBSEO stats - Up by 10,000 a Day!

Well it seems everyone else is doing it and it's 6 months today that I installed vBSEO, so here's my stats...

It's kinda fitting because it's been almost a year since I started paying attention to my forums (this one has been running for just over a year and a half and is the first one I installed vBSEO on), so you can seen 6 months before installation and 6 months after on a fairly virgin forum.

vBSEO Installed: December 26, 2007 - 192,008 Posts
Members: 2161 (not sure how many were active).
Pages indexed on Google: 27,500
Avarage of 2,000 daily unique visitors.
Search sent 37,644 total visits via 18,991 keywords.


vBSEO 6 month audit: June 26, 2008 - 536,640 Posts
Members: 6,510, Active Members: 2,405
Pages indexed on Google: 41,800
Avarage of 6,500 daily unique visitors.
Search sent 116,842 total visits via 55,262 keywords.

If I had thought about it I should have installed vBSEO after the xmas holidays as on the stats below it's hard to gauge the flow of traffic that isn't affected by the seasonal dip.

All in all its been a good 6 months. We now regularly hit between 4,000 and 5,000 posts a day and avarage 2 million+ pageviews per month (based on last month and projected this month).

Looking at the analytics' graph we haven't even started to hit a peak. Projected stats show another 1.5 million+ posts in the next 12 months (if things stay like this).

Wow - you are doing amazing! Great progress. I can see that you are going to continue to be very successful.

i wish i could get your page views man :( my uniques are there, but total views is FAR off :(

OK, 1 month update today (give or take an hour).

Really gutted! I wanted hit 100,000 posts this month (well since my original post), but missed it by about 900 posts :(

Pages indexed on Google: 38,100 <-- putting that down to the server problems we had.
Avarage of 6,500 daily unique visitors.
Search sent 133,117 total visits via 56,742 keywords

We took a hammering on search engines after the problems with the server, but seem to have clawed it back (just).

Expecting statistics to go static over this next month because of the type of traffic we attract and the fact it's summer holidays in most countries + holidays / family vacations... but we'll see (I like it when I'm proved wrong).

It's our 2 year birthday in 5 days and managed to brake our 600,000 post target, YAY!
