Voting In Poll Brings You To Different Thread

A member has pointed me to an error happening on my forum.

A user set up a open poll in the thread here

And after they pick their choice and hit the submit vote button, they are redirected to the thread here
Resistance 2 Beta Open for everyone Thursday? - PS3 Trophies Forums

Why is this happening? No VBSEO changes should have been made after the poll was created since the file for VBSEO config is not writable in permissions right now.
