Looks like this bug is still present.

If I set "define('VBSEO_REWRITE_MEMBER_MORECHARS', 1);" back to 0, I get the same problem.

clicking on username "~rebecca~" takes you to the user "rebecca"

Hi vissa,

you didn't had to revert this option: if you set it to 0, you will have exactly the same URLs for both member profiles.

So you should either have VBSEO_REWRITE_MEMBER_MORECHARS=1 OR add [user_id] part to your member profile URL format.

Not sure I completely understand your message.

This was an issue that was asked about in the previous thread I mentioned. The question was whether or not an update solved the problem without having to set that option in morechars. So the answer is that the problem still exists.

The 'more chars' option was created to manage this problem. It's the only way to have different profiles display properly while not including the id's on the url.
