URL Rewrite Not Skipping some Characters in Search Page

In one of our websites, using vBulletin 3 and the lastest vBSEO, we have had reports of URL issues in the SEO'd forum url. We use a full rewrite option, meaning we use the full forum title in the URL, without forum ID. This works fine in the forums, but in the search page, it seems like some characters in the forum title are not replaced properly when generating the URL.

So far, I was able to notice that double quotes are not replaced. So the link to a forum name 12" Subwoofers will become forums/12-subwoofers/ in the forums, but in the search page it becomes forums/12" subwoofers/.

You need to define a character replacement as following

This is the first thing I tried, but it did not do anything - again this happens only in the search results.

I can't reproduce this on my vb3 or vb4 boards.
