upgrade rc8 to final, empty pages

Hi,

a really strange problem occured when upgrading from rc8 to final. I don't know if its my fault or a general bug, so I postet it here.

What I did:
- upload the new xml file, remove the old plugin
- upload all files binary
- importet my saved settings

Problem:
- I could load my forum/index.php but from there every link, I clicked, like to my forums didn't work, even when I turned the plug-in off.
- when clicking on a link, the page wasn't loaded, the forum/index.php remained in the browser
- when calling any deeper links, like threads, even over the showthread.php the site wasn't loaded, the browser remained empty

Now I'm back to RC8, which works really good!

Any ideas?

Now after 1 day running, I see one major issue for my board, the high serverload. During peak times, when I have 200-300 users running on my pages, the serverloads are double or triple the normal value

The speed is slowing down dramatically! I also activated the cleanup html code and image size attributes, but it does not change anything.

Any advices?

Hello Sebastian,

We have corrected an issue that might have caused the overhead. With 200-300 users (on a non-overloaded server), you shouldn't have any load issues. Please let me know how it goes after installing the newly released 2.0.

okay, I installed now the new 2.0.

I'll let you know later, when my peak time is reached what the server load is about.

the peak time is now reached, the server load is a bit lower than yesterday with RC8 but still much much more than the normal value. My pages are still loading significantly slower than without the vbseo modification.

Maybe you now some further ways to optimize it or can me tell what to do, regarding the settings?

Perhaps your Server Config like PHP Version, MySQL Version, Apache Version and Server Hardware would be interesting for the dev Team....

You Should deactivate some of your hacks... maybe there is an issue... (membermap active?)

only vBShout and vBAdvanced als plugins installed.

normally absolutely enough capacities. Over 3 Ghz, 1Gig RAM, nearly no other websites. Apache2, php4

This issue was resolved after upgrading to vBSEO 2.0 Final re-release version.
