Uncached templates v 3.3.0.RC1

Just upgraded to vBSEO 3.3.0 RC1
Is this a problem with my settings or a possible bug...

Both templates are cached for us also.

If you use vboptimize or some some other template cache, try disabling/re-enabling it.

Hmn! I'll have to have a further look at this.

I have the ALL linkback options disabled and they were before the upgrade.
That is, linkbacks were not enabled in the previous version.
ALL settings were saved (exported) and then imported after the upgrade.

Running vB 3.8.1
The problem occurs on showpost.

Can you please check if your vBSEO templates are reverted or not.

Templates do not need reverting.


There are two styles installed. Both are updated to vB3.8.1 and no reverts are required. vBSEO templates are present in both styles.

1. The default vB skin is now showing the dropdown linkback menu on showpost
2. The custom skin is not showing the dropdown menu.

As I've stated. Linkbacks were not enabled before the upgrade and they remain disabled. They have never been enabled.

This problem arose out of the upgrade to v3.3.0 RC1

OK. I've reverted to the last vBSEO release. = 3.2.0 gold

Uploaded the 3.2.0 files imported the product (crawlability_vbseo.xml) imported the saved (3.2.0) settings and the problem has gone.

The templates are not showing as uncached and the linkback dropdown menu is not showing in the default vBulletin style.

I have the same problem.

I dont have any Caching template plugin / Product installed.

Hello ,

Please make sure your vBSEO templates are reverted. If they are reverted please create a support ticket with temporary admincp and ftp login to investigate the issue.

This problem still exists in the 3.3.0 version.

The linkbacks are NOT enabled. The Linkback menu is added by the upgrade from 3.2.0 to 3.3.0

All templates are original. No reverts required.

Please note ! Linkbacks are not enabled, so how is it that the Linkback menu is added.
It does not exist in the 3.2.0 version and there is no problem with uncached templates.

Do you have social bookmarks enabled? If yes, the menu is displayed since thread bookmarks are included in Linkbacks dropdown.
