Social Group Titles with & in them

actually, any url with a & doesnt appear to be working.

(I just upgraded from 3.0 to latest build last week)

Hello,

you can include group_id in corresponding URL formats in vBSEO CP to resolve that.

I just changed the titles. What about usernames like: bob&jayne

And why wasnt it happening on 3.0.0?

There was no groups support in vBSEO3.0.0. Username should be working unless there is another account with similar username, that can be confused with it.

However usernames with ampersands do not work. Nor do album names. Both Avatars also are broken.

Also as an FYI, cusomising profiles or vbblog 2.0 (which is in beta) with images from user albums doesnt work as the URLs are rewritten when the page is displayed. While the URLs may be valid, vbulletin claims that pictures must come from album.

As non english characters or non letter characters can cause a problem we highly recommend our users to use userid , albumid or any other possible value in order to prevent these happening.

But Im pretty sure I simply have default settings and the ampersand worked fine in 3.0.0

Are you saying that if I have any users with ampersands or what not in the username than I am better off using the default vB and not vBseo? What about thread titles?

ok... looks like it strips out & in the URL for thread titles.

This may indeed be a bug as I don't see a reason for those to be broken if there are no conflicting URLs.

We are investigating and will report back with a conclusion.

Regarding blog customization , make sure you use the image url such as

I just tested this on vBSEO and and it works correctly.

Is there anyone who can reproduce the issue ?

When I customise my blog (2.0 beta 4 IIRC) or my user profile, the URLs are rewritten as:

http://www.salongeek.com/members/the+geek-albums-profile-picture1668-bodytile.gif

If I click Save, I get errors.

If I select the pics from the pop up window, they are entered fine, however anytime I go back to the page, the URLs are rewritten as above.

Changing settings may resolve the issue, however I would think this wouldnt be needed out of the box?
