Root directory not working

Hi

the root directory of an installation is not working. The url's are not rewritten, and it tries to access the following url.

http://www.domain.com/virtual/username/www.domain.com/blabla-forum/actualthread-210.html

But when I manually change the url to:

http://www.domain.com/blabla-forum/actualthread-210.html

all the urls are rewritten and work fine.

So it looks like an issue with the rewriting of the root url's.

I have not had this problem in other installations, so I don't know what the issue is.

1. Have you tried uncommenting RewriteBase directive in .htaccess file?
2. Could you please post (or PM) the real URL where this is reproducable?

Yes, I have tried uncommenting the RewriteBase
