Exclamation Problem navbar / JS drop down menu again

    Hey,

I think, its still this bug: navbar error

I installed the new final 2.0 and the drop down menus are not working, even the ones in the navbar or in the forums for the tools or in the threads for the moderation tools or what ever...

    So back to RC8 again...

*edit* After going back to RC8 it didn't work even. To fix that issue, I saved the forum settings and after then, my menus came back.

Yes, this issue was related to an "options reset" problem. It will remain when upgrading to the re-release version (or downgrading to RC8) unless the the options are reset.

The issue has been resolved in the final re-release.

    Thanks for reporting

There was a 2.0 Final version (released yesterday) and a Final Re-release (released today) - It is fixed in the Final Re-release (already availble via your admincp)

EDIT: I meant usercp (not admincp)

I have upgraded to vBSEO 2.0 final re-release version, and I still encounter this problem. Since last night, the problem occured 3 times at my forum, twice I fixed that by saving the vBulletin options but at the 3rd attempt no matter what I do, I am unable to get back the menus in place. Any body?

    Cheers!

Have you tested turning the dhtml menu's off, save, then on again and save through these options?

@Stussi - That did not help either.

@xb - Yes, but w/ no success at the 3rd attempt as I stated earlier in this thread.

    Cheers!

Ok since you said that the system did not switch off "vb dhtml menu", i suspect there might be something wrong in your admincp/options.php file.

While i was annoyed because of my popups not working yesterday i started writing a little script which enables them again.. now i adapted it for this occasion.

Review, upload and run it. It should output in your browser exactly what it does or try to do.

    and the error is back..
anyway this is how i managed to get it back.
Was testing a problem with geek article system. For debugging first i enabled the template names from admin cp and then disabled the clean html code command.
after testing enabled clean html code.

But by then i was getting this prob with rep bars

as you can see the rep icons are spaced. Now at this time settings were
    html code cleanup enabled..
    forum template name enabled.

Also during this time this particular hack... i don't think its hack specific but you will get the idea, gave this prob.
    the hack
    http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=83074
the hack is now as product. earlier it required template edits.
    see what happens.

^^ The template names were coming in posts.

Also i removed the template names in code from admincp and well the menus had gone.
went back resaved the settings again and they are back again.
