Question Missing /forum/ section in the copied & pasted urls

    Hello,

I've just upgraded to vBSEO 3.0 Gold, but this problem still exists:

When i copy an internal link from the postbit (an attachment, username or thread url) and paste it as a new post, the url is broken because of the missing /forum/ section.

    For example:

    Correct url: "http://www.msxlabs.org/forum/members/1-neutralizer.html"

    Copied & Pasted url: "http://www.msxlabs.org/members/1-neutralizer.html"

    Regards

Select and copy my nickname (profile url) from the postbit, and paste it to the message box, send it as a new post.

Choose "Copy", not "Copy link location" and paste the linked-text.

    Yes.

Edit: It's a Firefox / vBSEO (or vBulletin) issue, at least for my site. IE doesn't have this bug.

Yes, we figured out the problem...

Firefox + my forum with my custom style + copied & pasted internal links = missing /forum/ section in the url.

Interesting there is no issue with IE.

The same thing is happening to me too, when I paste look like this (in BBcode):

    Code:
     [.URL="http://www.domain.com/forum/../../member/username/"]Username[/url]
This is the way to reproduce:
    - Put the mouse over the username post.
    - Click in right button and select "COPY".
    - Paste on the WYSIWYG field.
    - The address is wrong and return 404.

I don't use any template on Firefox and it's version 2.0.0.3, this is my extensions (all last versions):
    - Aadvark
    - Adsense notifier
    - Bookmark duplicate detector
    - Colorzilla
    - CSS Viewer
    - Download Status bar
    - HTML Validator
    - Imagebot
    - Measure it
    - SEOQuake
    - TAW3
    - Web Developer
    - XHTML Mobile Profile
