last post member links on forumhome

Not sure if this has been mentioned (or if it is just me), but in previous releases last post icon links & last post member links (on forumhome) were disabled to guests.

Is this a version discrepancy? Don't mind fixing it myself but before I do, wonder if I even need to (if Gold has it done)

    Hello,

make sure that you have "Remove Last Post Links For Guest Visitors" option enabled in vBSEO CP, I just checked and it works (although it might not work in some custom styles)

I have the latest vBSEO 3.5.1 installed on my testing forum vB 4.0.4 PL1.

The selected option is the following:

Remove Last Post Column For Guest Visitors
Select this option to completely remove the last post column on forumhome for guest visitors. In addition to removing the last post links (option above), this option will increase your content to code ratio while reducing bandwidth consumed by your forum homepage.
The expected behavior is the complete removal of the column. However, the feature removes only the heading of the column, and the content of the column, but the column itself is still present. Is this by design, or is this an oversight?

I'm actually trying to remove the above column from everyone, but I don't yet know how to do it. I stumbled upon this feature in vBSEO, and I thought I would mention this issue.

If you have a customized style , this option may not work for you as expected.

No, I do not have a customized style at all. I'm using a test forum with vB4 and the newest vBSEO installed. The above mentioned vBSEO feature is unable to remove the column. It only removes the content of the column, but the column itself (an empty one) is still present.

It's not an issue for me personally, as I have already figured out how to remove the column on my installation by editing three templates. vB4 is quite a different from vB3.
