Javascript problem with nofollow

I am using a popular mod that adds javascript. The javascript references a member profile, but when the rel=nofollow is added to it, it causes a javascript error. The only way I see around this is to turn off rel=nofollow for member profiles, or for some type of fix that has vbseo check to make sure it isn't replacing javascript. I don't know how feasible that is, but technically I would consider this a bug since it can break code.

Actually I thought of another simple fix vbseo could include in it's next release that would solve this problem. Simply change the replacement from rel="nofollow" to rel='nofollow', or at least give the option. I'm assuming google won't care either way.
