Issue when using two skins - different URLs

Hi,

We are using the Aria skin from vbstyles and we have found the following issue.

Using the old skin, we find the rewritten URL on forumhome to be:

http://site.com/forum/xxxxx-xxx-xxx-xxxxx-xxxx/

Under the new skin - all is same except an extra hyphen at the end.

i.e

http://site.com/forum/xxxxx-xxx-xxx-xxxxx-xxxx-/

On clicking on this URL in the FORUMHOME on the new skin, we do get a 404.

Any idea why this might be happening?

Please check the new templates and make sure there is no extra hypen on urls. You can check forumhome_forumbit_level2_post in order to speed up the process. If both templates are same please temporary disable vBSEO and see if you still have the error.

Double checked - no extra hyphens. Some of the URLs are OK, but some of them have the extra hyphen

I tried accessing the support system and it asked me to upgrade. So no support if I don't upgrade? Else should I paste my links here so that you can take a look?

In the MBA abroad section, the forum title

takes you to a 404 because of the extra hyphen.

On our current skin, listed below - the same URL shows up without the hyphen and 404.

With styleid=26 the link looks like

and it doesn't give 404 for me. Both styles look same to me , are you sure styleid=26 is enabled for guests.

In order to receive priority support and access to support ticket system you need to renew your license. License renewal fee is 35$ per year.

We haven't enabled it for the guests yet. More so because of this bug .. any other suggestions?

If you keep it disabled we cannot reproduce the error.

It is same for me i don't see any - at the end and the style is still the same also

I am waiting for my renewal to be done so that I can post a support ticket. In the meantime I found that the error does not happen in IE, but only in Mozilla. Does that ring a bell or has a similar issue been faced with FF ?
