Getting a lot of DB errors!

Just installed yesterday and am geting a TON of DB errors. They all pretty much read like this:

mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)
/home/httpd/vhosts/usfkforums.com/httpdocs/includes/class_core.php on line 279

Any idea?

please PM me the exact link which causes the issues (db error reporting emails from vBulletin should have the URL included).

the errors have stopped. I believe it was due to the MySpace hack. I removed the part of the MySpace hack and the error stopped.
