    Exclamation Forum Slugs

    Hi

    I am posting this issue here even though i think it is not a bug but it is very important.

    Forum Slugs don't seem to be saved/stored or I lost them after I upgraded to 3.0.1, I am not sure.

    I started using them on 3.0.0 and I forgot about them.
    I upgraded a while back to 3.0.1 and today I was checking and I had no slug rewrite of the forum names anymore.

    I think it is crucial that you store the information (or did it get lost when upgrading to 3.0.1 because I had problems?)
    You also definitely should implement the forum slugs into the vbseoCP. Otherwise they get overwritten when ever an upgrade is done and the vbseo_config file is overwritten.

    ps: A site note... can you give an example for the option define('VBSEO_EXTRA_ROBOTS', '');
    I think you should comment your features more if you want us to use and tests them

    Hello,

    did you restore your exported xml settings file during upgrade? Forums slugs info should be included in it.

    ps: A site note... can you give an example for the option define('VBSEO_EXTRA_ROBOTS', '');
    An example is:
    PHP Code:
    define('VBSEO_EXTRA_ROBOTS''googlebot|yahoo');
    (those 2 are already included in standard option though )

    I had problems during upgrade from 3.0 to 3.0.1 like I described in another bug report so there might be the problem.

    Anyway, it should be included in the vbseoCP

    vBSEO CP will be revised in the near future (not in v3.0.1, but in the next one).
    Thank-you for comments!

    If you are able to reproduce this issue while upgrading to 3.1.0 (pre-release, available shortly via the pre-release forums), please notify us.

    The slug settings should remain while upgrading both, by restoring your vbseo_all.xml file OR automatically when saving your vbseocp settings for the first time.

    Anyway, it should be included in the vbseoCP
    Yes, many of the beta features that have been available only via the config_vbseo.php file in the past, will be incorporated into the vbseocp front-end with the vbseocp redesign scheduled for the next major release.

    Thank-you!

    I upgraded to 3.1. and had no problems during upgrade.
    After Importing the old settings xml file the slugs were back again.

    Running 3.1 on both of my forums now.
