About LinkBacksYup, I dumped everything and made sure they were in binary mode and uploaded again. Unless there's something wrong with my FTP software, they should be binary.
*Edit* - Welp, you got me. Apparently SmartFTP acts differently with Windows vs. unix servers... that error is gone, dealing with a 404 now but I'll bet i can troubleshoot that.

Re-uploading in binary fixed it for me... did you try overwriting all the files, being sure to upload in binary mode?

Yes I am still running 2.1 because I think that the vbseo - team will soon develop a fix
