Enter format for Google Analytics External Links Tracking Selection

In the control panel it tells you to enter a format, however, there is no area to do that...there are YES and NO radio buttons though

    Google Chrome browser.

Also, not sure if you are aware, however, all data within the control panel is overwritten when upgrading from Beta 1 to Beta 2. I lost all my custom re-writes, someone elses analytics code was entered, as well as someones twitter name in tweetboard config. In addition, all settings reverted to default.

Is the data loss a known problem or does it just have to do with the use of the new control panel?

    What data have you lost?

If you mean all your previous settings you should always create and XML backup prior to any upgrade, importing the backup will then return all settings back to normal, if you didn't follow this step when upgrading then yes you may have lost all of your previous settings due to the major CP change and file structure.

All the data in the CP is just as if it was installed fresh.

In the past it would not remove the data so I was not sure if you wanted it doing that.

Yes, I created a backup, just letting you know it was doing that

    Hi,

Yes this was expected due to the major change we are now storing all of the settings in config.xml, We have always recommended that you make the backups but have just been lucky that it has never really been required.

Future upgrades from 3.5.x + probably won't require the backup again unless we make another major change but please keep up the practice of creating the backups just in case

/outgoing/ is the default setting, and doesn't need to be altered.
