Question Define Homepage Aliases (vBSEO 3.5 RC2)

    Hi

There seem some hardcoded links to forum.php which "Define Homepage Aliases" does not take care of.

I have the vB 4 suite and currently don't want to use the CMS but renaming forum.php to index.php is not possible,
otherwise I would remove the CMS functionality which I want to use in the future.

    I want:

http://www.diabetesfragen.net to be the forum index
http://www.diabetesfragen.net/portal.php or something like this for the CMS in case I want to use the CMS in the future

Any Ideas how to solve this issue?

    Hello,

You can rename forum.php to index.php without having CMS issues. The index file is simply a re-direct script basically.
content.php is still content.php and is defined withing vboptions -> CMS options. The index file has nothing to do with its loading.

    Ok done.

But in the future it would be good to find a solution within vBSEO
Otherwise with each upgrade the change has to be done manually again.

    Thanks
