I'd like also to report that greek characters are not getting accepted in "Define your Custom Character Replacements" field.

I use for example γ=>'g' and then after I hit "Save Settings" it turns to // γ=>'g'

With some characters they now need to be escaped using ASCII encoding...

The full Greek alphabet and replacements you can user are listed on Greek Letters in HTML - ASCII Greek Letters

So

Code:

'γ'=>'g'

becomes

Code:

'&# 933;'=>'g'

Without the space between &# and 933 (Had to put this in or vBulletin would convert it.

I'm afraid that is not working also. I mean, the list is getting accepted now in the "Define your Custom Character Replacements" field but the Greek characters are not getting replaced with their English equivalent, as they use to be before the upgrade. As a result, the old links (usernames, tags, etc) who have Greek characters are not working now.

It looks like you are not using the latest package. Please download 3.5.0 RC1 PL1 and upload all files except config.xml.

I was using the latest package (3.5.0 RC1 PL1) but I've re-uploaded the 3.5.0 RC1 PL1 files, just in case...

However, the problem is still. Usernames with Greek characters are not getting replaced with their English equivalent. The characters in the URLs look like /members/aaaaeio-406/ and the old links to these profile pages are not working any more.

I have flagged this for our developers

It works correct on all our installations. Please create a support ticket with login information so we can check.
