    Bug in some pathnames ...

    ... look at this result ... http://go4xml.com/dienste/linkcheck....t=URL+Pr%FCfen

    The problem exists only in sub-forums. I have many 404 - errors in my logfile because of wrong path-names for images and .js (javascripts)

    Hello,

    it looks like there is a problem with this Link Check tool. The http://www.vbseo.com/f20/ page contains the following inside:
    <base href="http://www.vbseo.com/" />
    It means that all relative links are addressed "based" on the domain root URL instead of the current "/f20/" path.

    This tool just doesn't take that into account.

    But if the browser does not parse the base command ? As I mentioned before - I have many IMG and .JS 404 Errors ....

    Hello,

    all browsers have this tag supported.
    Please le me know an example of browser version + URL that is loaded and has broken links inside? (for instance, do you have a js error while loading http://www.vbseo.com/f20/ page?)

    I told you, that my logfile displays many entries with 401 errors on these files. Perhaps somebody else could check his logfiles for this problems.

    Please PM me an example of the log line (including referring URL) to let me check that.

    Thank you!
