Well first of all posting this cos gas usually has almost the same kind of format as the vbulletin stock so i don't think this should be a majot bug to fix.
Anyway i will leave the developers to decide how major or minor it is.

Basically in a article if you have say 15 comments to main article then you will have comments spanning multiple pages.
in this case 2 pages.
Now giving the bug from my site.. from main page i see this article
now for the first time.. it shows the correct url.Code:http://www.techenclave.com/forums/techenclave-exclusive-epox-ep-9npa-motherboard-8996-new-post.html
But if you view all comments (thats goto view comments and see page 1 and page 2 of comments) then go back to main page and try coming back to same article you end up going to this page
Code:http://www.techenclave.com/forums/techenclave-exclusive-epox-ep-9npa-motherboard-8996-2.html#post72870
Notice that page number has become 2.
Now for a normal thread this was ok. You have 15 posts and the page has to go to 2 as your new posts will begin from page 2. But in the article hack this will be a mess up as you get a blank page cos that URL is not recognized. you can see this by pasting the abobe url and seeing where you go to.
the comments url is like
Now thats the url for page 2 comments.Code:http://www.techenclave.com/forums/techenclave-exclusive-epox-ep-9npa-motherboard-8996-2.html?conly=1
Ideally in the case of the geek article the new post should always go to the 1st page as thats the page where last 5 lastest comments are shown. In case of normal Vbulletin install this problem is not there.
Anyway i hope you guys got the hang of the problem.![]()
I am hoping you guys support the articles hack as top priority as many people have major forum contents in the article hacks and the small probs and bugs can hurt.
There two major hacks on VB.org.
Cings article (which is now fully supported.. and has URL support also with VBSEO)
and GAS(geek article system) in which case you get this error.
Incidentally i have both hacks on my forums![]()
