Hello Kall,
Can you post (or pm) a sample url? I have an account in your forums.

Oh and, is this a feature of vbseo or not? Not being able to look into the files is very very frustrating for troubleshooting purposes.
Yes, "base href" is added by vBSEO to ensure correct references for images, .css, and .js files.
We are working on identifying a solution to the problem you are experiencing with your spellchecker and will attempt to make vBSEO compatible with vBSpell (as we do with all popular hacks/mods). In the event that full compatibility cannot be achieved with an efficient fix, I will add a new configuration option to "disable base href" in the vBSEO control panel.

@Kall:
Q. Does this pertain to the ieSpell checker?
Q. Can you provide us with instructions on how to reproduce the error on your website?
