Attachment problem if "." in thread title?

vBSEO 3.0.0.0 RC5 - Attachments are showing up as a 404 file not found error if the thread title has a "." period character in the thread title.

I've not had enough time to test whether this is a vBSEO issue or whether the problem lies somewhere else <grin> ... what I was able to get tested is that the attachments upload just fine, are available if you disable vBSEO, are available if you edit the "." period character out of the title, and if you put the "." back into the title, they again show up as 404 file not found ...

For a short term solution, I simply edit the offending threads <grin> ... I don't know why we need a period character in a thread title anyway <grin> ...

    Thanks,
    Greg

Sure ... I've PM's you an Admin username and password so you can edit the thread title and test this for yourself.

Here is a link to a thread Переводы - Barr Report
Right now the thread title does not have a "." in it ... and you can download the attachment just fine ... if you edit the thread title and add a "." to the end of it, the thread will still display just fine, however, the attachment will no longer display.

I don't know what the issue is, but it at least can be replicated and tested <grin> ...

    Thanks,
    Greg

    Oleg:

Just in case you missed the link ... it's in the message above. You have vBSEO/vBulletin configured to pull the title of the webpage in ... so it is autolinked to the link posted above.

    Thanks,
    Greg
