Seems like there is a problem with this site - it has a long response time and probably request times out.
You can try to increase VBSEO_NET_TIMEOUT option in config_vbseo.php file to check this.

It loads almost instantly in my browser even upon refresh. Are you saying it takes a long time to load in your browser?

No, I meant that it took long to load from the server (from PHP script).

It seems to me that the posts containing the link http://freeblogsite.com/ render immediately then without taking at least VBSEO_NET_TIMEOUT to render. Posts with other links take a small amount of time to render.

How can you tell that it took long to load from the server (i.e. takes vbseo a long time to load)? Did it take a long time for your post with the http://freeblogsite.com/ link to render?

Yes, I had an impressions that it took longer than usual when posted a test message.
